DevOps consulting that makes deploys routine
DevOps consulting is outside engineering help that makes software delivery fast, safe and repeatable. Valfort Tech's senior engineers audit your delivery setup in five days, then build CI/CD with automatic rollback, Terraform infrastructure as code, and monitoring with runbooks. Everything lands as code in your own repositories, so weekly releases can become daily ones.
When teams call us about DevOps
Deploys are manual and scary, and one person holds all the infrastructure knowledge.
- Deploys are manual, and the team ships weekly or less because each release feels risky.
- One engineer holds most of the infrastructure knowledge, and a holiday becomes a risk.
- Rolling back a bad release means a manual scramble instead of one command.
- Cloud resources were created by hand in the console, and nobody is sure what is safe to change.
- New engineers wait days for access and a working environment.
What we deliver
Everything ships as code in your repositories, with runbooks and a recorded handover.
Five-day audit
We score your pipelines, infrastructure, monitoring and on-call against a written rubric. You get a scored report and a ranked list of fixes.
CI/CD with automatic rollback
Pipelines in GitHub Actions or your existing CI that test, build and deploy on every merge. A release that fails its health checks rolls back without a human.
Infrastructure as code in Terraform
Your cloud resources described in Terraform modules, reviewed through pull requests and reproducible across environments.
GitOps deployments
Argo CD keeps your Kubernetes clusters in sync with Git, so every change has an author, a review and a history.
Monitoring, alerts and runbooks
Prometheus and Grafana dashboards for the signals that matter, alerts tied to customer impact, and a runbook for every alert.
Recorded handover
Written docs in your repositories and recorded walkthroughs for your team, so nothing depends on us after we leave.
Typical results
Teams that ship weekly typically move to daily releases once deploys are automated and rollback is safe.
A bad release is typically rolled back in minutes rather than after an afternoon of manual fixes.
Infrastructure knowledge typically moves out of one person's head into code, docs and runbooks the whole team can read.
Typical ranges, not promises. We measure your own baseline in the first week.
How a DevOps engagement runs
The first two weeks run on read-only access. Every change after that goes through your pull requests, with one named engineer and a written update every Friday.
- Week 1
- Read-only auditWe review your pipelines, cloud accounts and on-call setup on read-only access, and map where releases slow down or break.
- Week 2
- Roadmap and first fixYou get a scored report and a ranked 90-day roadmap, and we ship one fix to production through your pull requests.
- Weeks 3–8
- Pipelines and infrastructureWe build CI/CD with automatic rollback and move your infrastructure into Terraform, highest-risk areas first.
- Weeks 9–12
- Monitoring and handoverWe add dashboards, alerts and runbooks, then hand over with written docs and a recorded walkthrough.

DevOps questions
What does a DevOps consultant actually do?
A DevOps consultant builds the systems that get code from a pull request to production safely and repeatably. At Valfort Tech that means CI/CD with automatic rollback, infrastructure as code in Terraform, GitOps deployments and monitoring with runbooks. Senior engineers do the work as code in your repositories, and every change goes through your pull requests.
How much does DevOps consulting cost?
Engagements start with a 10-day readiness sprint at a fixed $3,500. You get a scored report, a ranked 90-day roadmap and one fix shipped to production. If we do not find at least three times the fee in savings or avoided risk, the sprint is free. Follow-on work is scoped after the sprint, and the sprint fee is credited to it.
How long does it take to set up CI/CD and infrastructure as code?
The readiness sprint takes 10 working days and ships one fix to production. The follow-on build is planned in the 90-day roadmap from that sprint, and its length depends on how many services, environments and cloud accounts you run. Each roadmap item has an estimate before work starts, and you get a written progress update every Friday.
Do you need admin access to our cloud accounts?
No, not at the start. The first two weeks run on read-only access while we audit and plan. After that, every change goes through your pull requests, so your team reviews and approves it before it reaches production. Access stays scoped to what the roadmap needs, and you can revoke it at any time.
Can a DevOps team in India work with a company in the US or Europe?
Yes. Valfort Tech works with clients in the US, UK, EU and India and guarantees at least four hours of overlap with your working day. You get one named engineer as your point of contact and a written update every Friday. Work happens in your repositories and chat tools, so it fits how your team already operates.
Not sure where to start?
Book a 30-minute call. We'll tell you whether the readiness sprint, a single service or nothing at all is the right next step.
